Fibrepan has 7 percent plant fiber including Psyllium seed fiber, chicory fiber, and guar gum, which, due to their water-absorbing properties, improve bowel function and facilitate digestion. The presence of Psyllium also gives elasticity to the dough, facilitating its processing and improving its characteristics.

Deglutinated wheat starch is obtained by a special transformation process that makes it gluten-free (gluten content less than 10 ppm, or 10 parts per million) and therefore suitable for celiac and gluten-intolerant consumers.

Although Italian regulations require a level of 20 ppm, Farmo settles on 10 ppm as a GFCO (Gluten-Free Certification Organization) certified company: the American standard is in fact more restrictive than the European one.
