FRESELLE DEL VESUVIUS ALIMENTA 2000 GLUTEN FREE
Fresella , Frisella, Frisa or Acquasale, many names but a unique and inimitable taste.
It is a donut-shaped bread, cut in half horizontally and toasted again in the oven.
Tradition calls for them to be seasoned with tomatoes "a filo", olive oil, salt and oregano, in Naples the fresella is the basis of the caponata , in Crete, as in all of Greece, it is prepared with onion, cucumbers, tomatoes, feta, olives, basil and capers.
They are rich in proteins, starch, B vitamins and dietary fibre, and are recommended in the everyday diet, even in early childhood.
The crunchy base that's a must-have at the table. Perfect for fresh toppings but also to accompany hot soups!

Gluten-free preparation (potato starch, corn starch, tapioca starch, sugar, guar, xanthan gum), water, yeast, salt.
